I love taking pictures…capturing memories and stories that will be preserved for generations to come. This work brings me so much joy!
I know that preparing for photo sessions can be a stressful time with, among other things, kiddos who are unpredictable (at best) and not feeling so great (at worst), Grandpa who cannot stand taking pictures because he had bad prior experiences with photographers, and so on. Guess what…I love taking pictures in these situations, too! It makes me so happy when people are so pleasantly surprised at the quality of images we can get when we simply focus on having a great time during the session!

Cookies.
…and cream milkshakes, the little bags of Famous Amos chocolate chip….sigh.
The Beach.
Especially at golden hour - when the sun is going down and the light is magical - preparing for evening.
Hummingbirds.
So precious - even when you are filling feeders multiple times of day in the summer.
To Sing.
In church. In my car - with the windows down and the sunroof open - singing praises to my God.
Coffee.
And lots of it every single morning. Really, is there any elaboration needed?
My Family.
My greatest joy on this earth. I have been so very blessed to have them in my life.
Ladybugs.
…and dragonflies, but don’t get near me with any other types of creepy critters.
Bella-Boo.
The second child. Cameron calls her “the favorite”. She is the queen of the castle.

I have worked with many clients at various oceanfront locations, but the Myrtle Beach area has so many wonderful places for photo sessions. I have had sessions at lakes, parks, piers, and other places. We can work together to achieve the look you want.
South Boston, VA and surrounding areas
I have various places around my home where we can take portraits with backdrops that include beautiful fields, a pond, a fence line, and trees, among other things. I have scouted many other locations at the lake and in Alton and Roxboro. We can find a place that achieves the look you desire.
